Fateh Maidanmeaning “Victory Ground”, is a historic open ground located in the heart of Hyderabad, adjacent to the iconic Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium. Originally built in the 17th century by the Qutb Shahi rulers, it was named after the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s victory over Golconda in 1687.
